Bundaberg State High School now on the Queensland Heritage Register

The Queensland Heritage Council recently announced that several buildings at Bundaberg State High School have been added to the Queensland Heritage Register. The Queensland Heritage Register is a list of places that have cultural heritage significance to the people of Queensland.

According to the Queensland Heritage Register database, the buildings added to the register were Block D (built in 1920 and the oldest surviving purpose-built state high school building of its type in Queensland), Block G – the former vocational building (built in 1920, extended 1937 and 1956), and Block R (built in 1956) and Block M (built in 1959).
